We can’t believe it—it’s already right around the corner:

The summer 2015 issue of Curry’s Chronicle marks the Carson City Coin Collectors of America’s 10th year in existence. We have proudly published 34 issues of our award-winning journal (with this upcoming issue being #35), and have shared 325 articles with our members. For a 10-year old, I say this is quite an achievement!

We encourage anyone (regular contributors and newbies alike) to submit an article and/or a letter to the editor. Any length! We want you to have your place in our literary celebration. If you already rank on our list of article contributors, thank you! Add another submission on for good measure. Or, if you’ve never submitted a single word to the club, but you’ve always enjoyed being a silent C4OAer—this is your time to shine! Let us know about a collecting experience you’ve had regarding Carson City coins, or perhaps why you joined the club, or what you think about each issue of Curry’s Chronicle.

We know that with 34 issues under our belt, there are still thousands of topics related to the Carson City Mint and the coins produced there. Ever had a nagging question about how the mint operated? Send a letter to the editor and ask it! Ever wanted to share how your grandfather slipped a shiny “CC” silver dollar in your Easter egg hunt? Submit an article about how that event was the catalyst for your “CC” coin collecting hobby!

The deadline for submissions for the summer 2015 issue of Curry’s Chronicle is April 30, 2015. However, if you’re working on something you wish to include, but don’t know if you’ll have it ready in time, let us know—we may be able to hold the deadline open for your submission until the first week of May.

If you have questions about how to submit an article or letter to the editor (or its corresponding images), email me at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., and I would be happy to help you.

We look forward to publishing a very special, 10-year anniversary issue of Curry’s Chronicle. Thank you so much for your support of the C4OA, we are honored to be here to help spread the passion those little “CC” mintmarks bring to us.
