Tomorrow, August 7, 2014, marks the date of our impromptu annual club meeting, held this year at the 2014 ANA World’s Fair of Money Convention in Rosemont, IL. Although no formal meeting schedule has been published, we are hoping members will gather around in the reserved meeting space for show-and-tell and fellowship. The meeting will be held from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM in Conference Room #22 on the Second Floor of the Donald E Stephens Convention Center, located at 5555 N. River Rd., Rosemont, IL 60018.
If you are able to attend, please feel free to send in letters to the editor and some images of the meeting.
We plan to commemorate the event in the fall-winter 2014 issue of Curry’s Chronicle.
If you can’t quite make the annual meeting in Illinois, have no fear: the C4OA’s regional meeting is right around the corner!
Members will be gathering at the Carson Nugget Casino located at 507 N. Carson St., Carson City, NV 89701 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM on Friday August 22, 2014. The regional meeting will be held in conjunction with the Nevada State Museum’s annual coin show, which will also take place at the Carson Nugget Casino. Signs will be posted to direct you to the correct banquet hall for the meeting. Events will include show-and-tell, spontaneous mini-lectures from attendees, and camaraderie amongst members.
