I plan on being in Carson City May 3rd (a Tues.), but read somewhere that the "Mint" is closed Sat.--Tues. Is this true?

Gsmick,

The Nevada State Museum in Carson City is open Wednesday - Saturday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

As stated on the museum's Web site:

Due to mandatory state budget restrictions, the museum is closed Sunday - Tuesday
