Capped Die, no doubt one of the finest out there. Wow. What about this one Brian? I just bought this. MS64 PL. This is a stock photo though.

It looks to be the Vam-5 obverse doubled 882. I really like the dates when they have a whole lot of doubling going on. Nice pick-up in 64 PL, Garryn.

Thanks very much, Brian. Its actually the 2A. Look under the first 8 and you will see the impression of the top of the 1 digit.

I looked at your Tailbar again, Its hard to believe its not a 65.

Ahhh yes, I see it now Garryn. The 1882-CC Vam-2 and Vam-5 are almost identical on the obverse. It would be interesting to see the reverse with all the legend letters and stars doubled near the rim. Post a picture for us when you get it in hand.
